I just thought I'd post a picture of myself with some of the kids that I teach, since I finally got around to uploading it off my camera. We had a paper sculpture building contest. We had to make shapes out of strips of paper, and then build it either as tall or as wide as we could. Their in first grade...what more could you ask for??? Then I had the librarian come in as an impartial judge, and she chose the winners, who get the elusive....*gold card* woohoo. I don't know why they like getting gold cards so much!
